Creating an Open-Plan Kitchen and Dining Room in Beacon Hill, Surrey
- Jul 8
- 1 min read

This building project in Beacon Hill involved a number of internal alterations to create a more open kitchen and dining space.
The works included removing internal walls, blocking up an existing doorway and carrying out structural alterations to form a larger opening between rooms. The new layout has created a much more connected living space and makes the most of the property's views across the Surrey Hills.
By opening up the existing floor plan, the kitchen and dining areas now work together as one space, providing a layout that is better suited to family life.
The clients selected a kitchen that complements the property and works well within the new layout. The kitchen installation was carried out by the supplier's own fitting team, while our involvement focused on the structural alterations required to create the space.
Projects like this demonstrate how relatively simple changes to the layout of a home can have a significant impact on how the space is used day to day.
If you're considering removing internal walls, creating an open-plan kitchen or carrying out structural alterations to your home, we'd be happy to discuss your plans.
